The Edgeton Chess Set

There must be a chess set in every home - that was the rule I got handed over Christmas.
Story
The project has been paused. The game is no longer being developed. I hope to get back to it in the future. Last edit: Aug 3, 2023.
Lessons learned
Choose one game engine and stick with it. There are many game engines out there that support web games, but only a few with a lightweight build:
- Phaser - super flexible, but requires some work to get all the bells and whistles up and running
- Defold - batteries included, but not as flexible as Phaser
- Cocos Creator - I’m sure not many people have heard of it, thus the Western community might not be as big as the other two. But in my opinion, it is the best one for web games.
